GEORGETOWN -- Laswana Gamble, 18, of Georgetown County, has been arrested after deputies say she attacked her cousin with a knife.

Georgetown County sheriff's deputies responded to the call in the Andrews community Thursday evening around 5:25.

They say Gamble was involved in a verbal argument with her cousin, stabbed her, and then fled the scene.

Gamble was arrested Friday afternoon, according to sheriff's office spokesperson Carrie Cuthbertson.

Gamble's cousin had non-life threatening injuries.
