Taylor came to WPDE in 2011 from Greensboro, N.C., after working at WFMY News 2 and reporting for the Elon Sports Network.
Conway police charged Javon Gibbs, 18, of Conway, with Armed Robbery in connection with a robbery that took place in the area of 1118 Boundary Street on September 22, 2012.
Around 7:00 p.m. that day, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery.
The victim said he met Gibbs in the area to sell him two broken handguns. The victim said Gibbs showed a handgun and took victim's handguns and ran off.
Gibbs turned himself in on Thursday.
Bond was set at $20,000 on a personal recognizance bond with GPS monitoring.
