Horry County Fire Rescue responded to smoke coming from a mobile home on Reavis Lane, that's off Burcale Road, about noon Thursday.
The fire started in the kitchen area, according to Horry County Fire Rescue Public Information Officer Leslie Yancey.
Firefighters are investigating the extent of the damage.
No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
