Man faces Attempted Murder charges after shots fired near Highway

Myrtle Beach Police have found and arrested a man who they considered to be armed and dangerous.

According to a Myrtle Beach Police report, Marcus Olanziwan Brown, 22, was arrested Tuesday night when he turned himself in around 11:30 in connection to reports of shots fired on Tuesday.

Brown faces four counts of Attempted Murder.

Police and the SWAT team responded to a call of shots fired around 1:00 at Frontage road between 62nd and 65th Avenue on Highway 17 Bypass.

Police say he fired shots from inside at people outside. No one was hurt.

Police temporarily shut down Highway 17 Bypass while they searched Brown's home. He was not inside.
