Conway police say George William Smith, 43, robbed The Medicine Mart on Main Street at gunpoint on on October 5 and got away with the painkiller Oxycontin.
Conway police worked with the State Law Enforcement Division to identify Smith through similar pharmacy robberies in New Mexico.
Smith is hospitalized in Albuquerque, New Mexico from a suspected drug overdose.
Conway has warrants for Smith on charges of Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon during a Crime and Kidnapping.
