An 18-wheeler hauling batteries overturned on Interstate 20 in Darlington County Wednesday afternoon.

A tractor trailer overturned on I-20 westbound at mile marker 127 at the Darlington-Lee County line, according to officials with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The driver is expected to be OK.

The two westbound lanes have now reopened after being closed for several hours.
