Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a double wide mobile home fire on Brison Court Wednesday night near Conway.

When firefighters got to the scene around 9:20 pm, flames were coming from the home, according to Horry County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Matt Montgomery.

A mother and her 8-year-old son were home when the fire started, but were able to get out without significant injuries.

The Red Cross is now assisting the family.

Firefighters say there was an electrical problem in a bedroom which could have possibly caused the fire.
