Members of Florence City Council finalized a deal to move all city offices from the Florence City County Complex on North Irby Street to the City Center building on West Evans Street.

The city hopes close on the building by December 10 and move into it by July 1.

City leaders said they had outgrown the 40,000 square feet of space they're using at the complex.

The City Center is about six blocks away from the complex and is about 70,000 square feet.

The city will have to do some renovations to get the building ready.

The Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation will buy the building and lease it back to the city for a period of not more than 20 years.
