A house in Little River burned Wednesday night.

Horry County Fire Rescue was called to the scene about 10pm on South Horseshoe Drive in Little River.

Flames were coming from the home when they got there. The house was destroyed.

The house had been vacant for about four months. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

North Myrtle Beach Fire and Calabash Fire Departments both helped fight the fire.
