HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) - The death of a woman is under investigation after her body was found inside her car at Peachtree Boat Landing off Peachtree Road in Horry County.
Deputy Coroner Darris Fowler says the victim is Linda Graham, 65, of the Socastee area. Fowler says emergency crews were called to the scene after someone saw Graham's car go into the water. It happened just after 9 p.m. Saturday.
Fowler says the road dead ends into the Pee Dee River.
Preliminary autopsy results show Graham died from an accidental drowning, according to Fowler.
It will take several weeks before toxicology test results come back.
