A car flipped over on Highway 17 By-pass at Socastee Boulevard about 4:45 p.m. Friday.

Scanner traffic said firefighters had to get at least one person out of the car.

Myrtle Beach Police Captain David Knipes says there were no major injuries.

The road has since reopened.
