MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WPDE) - Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a stabbing on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.

Two male employees of the Airbrush T-shirt Shop next to University Rock and Roll got into a fight, according to Cpl. Jim Garrett with Myrtle Beach police.

One of the employees left the shop, and the other, John Duwane Dixon Jr., 35, followed him out.

The first man who left was stabbed in the shoulder by Dixon, says Garrett.

Dixon followed the victim and stabbed him again in the chest.

The victim was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Dixon is being charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime.
