Economic officials in Dillon, Marion and Marlboro counties are working on a project that could bring up to 200 jobs to the area.

Economic officials say a company is looking to a build a one-million square foot facility in the Interstate 95 industrial park in Dillon County next to Harbor Freight for what is being called Project Toolshed.

Each county is working on tax incentive agreements to lure the company.

The three counties have the highest unemployment rates in our area.

"I hope it works out because I know there are a lot of people out of work and I would like to see Dillon grow and progress a little bit better," Leroy Belin of Dillon.

We expect to learn more about the $70 million investment next month.
