Deputies are looking for a Ft. Jackson soldier who has not been seen since Saturday.

Calhoun County Sheriff Thomas Summers confirmed to our sister station, WACH-Fox, his office is investigating the disappearance of Sgt. Robert Larson.

According to a Facebook page set up to find Larson, he was last seen Saturday October 6th in the Calhoun County area. Larson's wife, Pamela, says the Purple Heart recipient has completed several overseas tours. During a mission in Iraq, the soldier survived a severe brain injury. Pamela says it's critical that he maintains his medication.
