CAROLINA FOREST -- Horry County police arrested a 15-year-old Carolina Forest High School student after a note was found around 1:15 p.m. in a bathroom at the school.

The note was brought to a teacher's attention by the student, who now stands accused of making the threat, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.

The school was evacuated for a brief time. Police quickly determined it to be a false threat and had the student in custody about 1:45 p.m.

Because of the student's age, the student's name has not been released.
