Captain Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff's Office says Michael Fulton has been arrested.
He was wanted on one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor Under the Age of 16, one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor, Third Degree and Failure to Register as Sex Offender.
Investigators say it was in connection with an 8-year-old child.
Deputies say in September, Fulton was babysitting at a home on West John Paul Jones Road when the assault occurred.
Fulton is also charged with Failure to Register as a Convicted Sex Offender.
