A charter fishing boat out of Calabash, N.C., turned back to shore after an engine fire Thursday evening, according to the U.S. Coast Guard.

The boat was about 10 miles offshore.

The Coast Guard says one of the vessel's two engines caught fire. 40 people were on board, there was no serious damage, and no injuries.

The vessel called "The Westwind" made it back to Little River Inlet under it's own power.
