Lumberton police say Moses Robinson, Jr. died after he was shot outside his home, Thursday morning.

Bernice Robinson heard her husband's car pull up at their home on East 10th Street in Lumberton around 1:30 a.m. Thursday and shortly after heard gunshots, Captain Johnny Barnes said.

Robinson walked outside and found her husband laying in the front yard.

He told his wife he had been shot, according to Barnes.

She then called 911.

Paramedics took Robinson to Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton where he was pronounced dead.

Barnes says officers talked with neighbors who also heard gunshots, but didn't see anything.

At this time, there are no arrests.

If you have any information on this murder, you're asked to call Lumberton police at (910) 671-3845.
