Combustible materials on a stove caused the fire at Ocean Lakes Campground Wednesday, according to Horry County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Justin Gibbins.

Ocean Lakes Marketing Director Barbara Krumm says a two-story home in the Q section caught fire. She says no one was inside when the fire started about 12:30 p.m.

Asst. Chief Doug Cline says the fire was contained to the first floor. He says there was extensive smoke and heat damage.

Firefighters from Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Midway, and Murrells Inlet-Garden City were called in to help.

No one was hurt.

Ocean Lakes is a gated community, and our photographer was not allowed inside to shoot video of the fire.
