(AP) -- A jury has convicted a South Carolina woman who won't tell authorities what happened to her missing toddler son.

The jury in Columbia found Zinah Jennings guilty of unlawful conduct.

Jennings showed no emotion as the verdict against her was read in court on Friday.

Jennings' son, Amir, was 18 months old when he was last seen in November. Police say Jennings lied to them about where the boy is. Jennings says she left the boy somewhere safe but won't give details.

Prosecution witnesses testified the young mother said she needed a break from the boy. Jennings' mother said she doesn't believe her daughter would have harmed him.

Jennings faces up to 10 years in prison.
