Florence County deputies arrested Debra McCaw, 27, on Monday and charged her with unlawful neglect of a child or helpless person.
Captain Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff's Office says McCaw gave birth to a baby in June and the child tested positive for drugs.
Captain Nunn didn't say what type of drugs.
A magistrate judge set McCaw's bond at $7,000. Officials at the Florence County Detention Center say McCaw has yet to post her bond and remains in their custody.
