MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) - Johnny Lamar Brown was last seen in Myrtle Beach on August 3.
The family has now called in CUE, Community for United Effort, to help in their search efforts.
"We've been in the area for last four plus days and that's what we're doing," said CUE founder Monica Caison. "We're just trying to generate tips to aid law enforcement investigations and hopefully be able to find him so they can bring him home."
Johnny has a severe speech impediment and is mentally disabled. He wandered away from his family in August on their first vacation out of Georgia and never found his way back.
Police and CUE are receiving tips, but they are coming in hours or days later. They are asking you to call right away if you see Johnny.
Police also urge you to keep an eye on Johnny until they arrive.
