MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) - According to a police report, Myrtle Beach Police observed a man loitering on the 1400 block of Mr. Joe White Avenue early Sunday morning.

The report says police questioned John David Turnick, 20, what he was doing and he said he was waiting for a cab.

Police also asked him for his home address and identification which he could not provide.

Officers then ran his birth date and name through the National Crime Information Center, NCIC, and found that Turnick was wanted out of Rockland County, New York.

Turnick's original charge was Possession of Dangerous Drugs.

He his now being charged with being a fugitive of justice.
