One person is dead after an wreck in Horry County on Highway 17 Thursday afternoon.
Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard says Doris Watson, 81, of Myrtle Beach died at the hospital of injuries she sustained in the crash.
It happened around 2 p.m. on Highway 17 near the intersection of Plaza Drive, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Officers say a GMC was heading south on Highway 17 when a Toyota driven by Watson failed to yield the right away.
The driver and passenger in the GMC were taken to the hospital, according to the Highway Patrol.
The accident remains under investigation.
