Raekwon Locklear is charged with first degree murder and child abuse in the death of the four-year old he was babysitting. He was arrested last Friday after being indicted by a grand jury.
Investigators with the Robeson County Sheriff's Office say he was babysitting the four-year-old at a home on Allendale Road in Pembroke, NC on July 12.
When the child's mother got home from work, the child wasn't breathing, officers say.
Autopsy results show the four-year-old died of blunt force injuries.
Locklear is being held in the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
