Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey says deputies are on Saddle Tree Road in Lumberton working a stabbing death.
Sealey says around 7:23 a.m. Monday someone called 911 saying a man had been stabbed. When deputies arrived at the house, Vickie Locklear had already died.
Officials have taken the victim's brother Ira Fredrick Locklear into custody.
Deputies are continuing to investigate and gather more details as to what led to the stabbing.
