The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Department says a jogger found the body of Jeffery Allen, 48, at Cheraw State Park on Highway 52 Tuesday morning.
Deputies say Allen's body was found near the spillway at the banks of Lake Juniper.
Investigators don't think there is any criminal involvement but have called in the State Law Enforcement Division to investigate.
Chesterfield County Coroner Kip Kiser says Allen's body has been sent to Newberry for an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
