The opening of the Academy of Hope, a new charter school in Conway, has been delayed because the school did not pass its fire alarm inspection.
Principal Marion Shaw said the school was scheduled to open Monday but will now not open until Wednesday, August 1 as they work to correct the problem.
The school will hold regular hours on Wednesday.
