Investigators with the Darlington County Combined Drug Unit and the Florence office of the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency arrested and charged David Green, 57, and Dorothy Green, 54, with Trafficking Marijuana and Unlawful Conduct toward a Child.

Officials say a package was intercepted by Drug Agents that was intended to be delivered to 619 Beverly Drive in Darlington County.

The package contained 44 lbs of marijuana.

An undercover agent posing as a delivery man made the delivery. Shortly after the package was delivered, agents raided the house.

A 2-year-old was found at the home holding a 2 lb package of marijuana when agents made the arrest.

The child was taken into protective custody.
