(AP) -- GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A 3-year-old boy has died after he fell into a swimming pool at his Greenville County home.
Deputy Coroner Jeff Fowler says Chance Stringer was found in the pool by his mother about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. Stringer was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy was planned Wednesday.
Officials say Stringer's twin brother and another sibling were at the pool when the victim fell into the water. Fowler says the mother thought the children were inside the house.
