Highway Patrol says a 64-year-old man died at the hospital Friday.
Troopers say he was driving a moped that was driving south in the northbound lane of Highway 151 about 5 a.m. on July 18.
They say a tractor trailer was traveling north when it swerved to hit the moped. The moped also swerved and hit the rear trailer tires, according to Highway Patrol.
The moped driver was taken to Carolina Pines hospital and then to Palmetto Richland Hospital, where he died.
Troopers say he was not wearing a helmet.
