Funeral arrangements have been set for the Lumberton police officer shot and killed Tuesday.
Master Patrol Officer Jeremiah Goodson was off duty when he spotted a wanted man. When he approached his car, police say Marques Brown shot Goodson several times. Another officer was about to arrest Brown.
The public visitation for Goodson is set for 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday at Colvin Funeral home.
A wake is planned afterwards at Lumberton Senior High School.
Goodson's funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the high school.
