Two tug boats arrived at the beach near Ocean Lakes Campground to drag a sailboat back to sea.

The boat ran aground Sunday, after it lost its anchor.

The boats were able to drag the boat back into the ocean just before 6 p.m. Monday.  The boat was going to travel to Little River and then to a marina in Socastee.

The owner is said to live in Ocean Lakes.

Horry County's Beach Patrol says a citation is pending. The owner can be fined up to $5,000 or be imprisoned up to thirty days for leaving the boat unattended. That depends on the investigation.

We have a crew on scene and will let you know when the boat is moved and if the owner is cited.
