William Moore of Franklinton, NC was filming his fiance Sarah Brame catching her first fish when a large Bull shark swooped in and snagged the Red Drum she was reeling in.

In the video above you can see what happened while Brame was reeling in her fish on Rice Circle in the Cherry Grove Inlet Tuesday.

"I was actually kind of scared because I seen it jump and actually thought it could jump up here and get me," said Brame. "Because the tide was all the way up, and it was probably three feet below me."

"We couldn't believe how it actually happened," said Moore. "We keep watching the video over and over and over again."

"First time we laid eyes on him. We didn't even know he was there," said Sarah's step-father Van Hughes.

The family estimated the bull shark between four to six feet long and more than 200 pounds.

"He had a head on him," said Hughes. "He could do some damage if he wanted."

The story doesn't stop with the shark getting away because Hughes and Moore along with their relative Dylan caught the shark again using chum as bait.

"We had to use the boat. It was exciting," said Moore.

But like a scene from "Jaws", the men realized they 'needed a bigger boat'.

"We needed a bigger boat and a bigger net," said Hughes. "I just wanted to touch it. Put my hands on it and let it go."

The family did finally let the shark go after a short fight, but they're still trying to catch it again.
