Tuesday, Myrtle Beach police arrested Reginald Rashard Hemphill, 24, of Myrtle Beach for a drive-by shooting. Wednesday, Jarrell Hunter turned himself in, although he as not yet been charged.
Police says Hemphill and Hunter were in a light blue Dodge Avenger early Sunday morning and shot at three people near apartments off Carolina Cove Drive.
Police charged Hemphill with three counts of Attempted Murder.
According to a police report, the victim told police she was outside talking with her son and her son's father when the car drove around her building and then parked. She said her ex-boyfriend and another man leaned out the window of the car, pointed hand guns at them, and drove away firing six or seven shots.
The three ran inside their apartment and took cover as the two drove away, the report says.
Police found several casings in the parking lot. The woman says she was fighting earlier with her ex-boyfriend over money and had received threatening text messages from him.
We don't know which suspect was the woman's ex-boyfriend.
No one was hurt during the shooting.
