Firefighters in Marion County battled a fire that burned a camper and 3/4 of an acre on Phill Court in the Friendship Community.

Several piles of tires, wood, and propane tanks also burned.

It started just after 4 p.m. Monday. They were on scene fighting the fire until about 8 p.m.

Rains Volunteer Fire Department Training Officer Brent Green says it was started by a homeowner's debris burn that got out of control.

No one was in the camper. No one was hurt in the fire.

30 firefighters with four different stations worked to put out the fire.
