Officials with Gildan Activewear say they're cutting 14 salaried positions at their Anvil Knitwear plant in the Hamer community of Dillon County.
A spokesperson for the company says employees were told in May when they bought out Anvil Knitwear that some jobs would be cut.
The jobs cut are mostly office positions.
Officials say employees will receive a severance package when they're let go in September.
