Man charged with felony DUI in deadly Alligator Road crash

Wednesday, Highway Patrol charged Jackson Lynch, Jr., 36, with felony DUI.

They say Lynch was driving on Alligator Road on June 11 when he crossed over the center line and hit a motorcycle head on.

The motorcycle driver, Ronald Hackett, 54, died. He was wearing a helmet.

Lynch is being held in the Florence County Detention Center.
