Former Atlantic Beach Police Chief Randy Rizzo requested a jury trial in Surfside Beach Municipal Court Tuesday for a DUI charge.

The arresting officer said Rizzo was swerving while driving on Highway 17, according to the police report.
The Surfside Beach Municipal Court Clerk said if a plea agreement isn't reached by September, Rizzo's jury trial will be held the week of October 22.
