Florence County deputies charged William Jamell Thomas, Jr., 31, of Coward with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Violent Felony.
They arrested him Thursday for a shooting on East Carolyn Avenue on September 11, 2011.
Deputies say Thomas shot a person who lived in the home after an argument.
Deputies have been looking for Thomas since September. They say a tip led to his arrest.
At a bond hearing Friday, a Florence County Magistrate denied bond because of Thomas' extensive criminal history and his flight risk.
If convicted, Thomas could be sentenced up to 30 years in prison on the Attempted Murder charge and an additional ten years on the Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of a Violent Felony.
