(AP) -- One of South Carolina's most popular tourist spots is adding a new attraction, helicopter rides.
Officials at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach said Thursday that Helicopter Adventures will begin flying helicopter rides from western side of the complex. The rides begin this weekend, weather permitting.
There will be a variety of rides available, with flights ranging from 2 miles to 52 miles into North Carolina.
The Broadway at the Beach complex includes theaters, nightclubs, hotels, 23 restaurants and more than 100 specialty shops.
