Horry County police arrested Raymond Kind, 35, after he fled from officers early Tuesday morning, according to Sgt. Robert Kegler.

Someone called North Myrtle Beach police to report several motorcycles had just been stolen, according to North Myrtle Beach Spokesman Pat Dowling. About 5:30 a.m., an officer spotted a black truck pulling a trailer traveling northbound on Highway 17, according to the report.

The officer discovered the truck was stolen after dispatch ran a check of the license plate. The officer continued to follow Kind into Horry County's jurisdiction, traveling west on Sea Mountain Highway.

Horry County police then assisted and an officer tried to pull Kind over near the intersection of Sun Colony Boulevard and Highway 9, but Kind refused to stop. After a short pursuit, Kind eventually pulled into the dirt parking lot of Big E Seafood and BBQ at 1250 East Highway 9, stopped the truck and ran out. Police chased him, called in Horry County's Canine Team, and officers arrested Kind near the Aberdeen Golf Course.

Officers confirmed the trailer and four motorcycles inside were stolen. The truck and trailer were towed to the city impound for processes.

Kind is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center. Horry County police charged him with driving under suspension and failure to stop for a blue light. North Myrtle Beach police charged him with Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and five counts of Grand Larceny.
