Kadeem Chambers, 20, of the Longs area of Horry County, was shot and killed on a trip to Charleston County after deputies there say he and his brother got lost.
Deputies arrived at the scene on Cynthia Drive on Johns Island Wednesday night to find a Mercedes crashed into a pickup truck and the driver of the Mercedes slumped over the wheel.
Chambers was the driver of the Mercedes.
His brother, who was in the car with him, suffered head injuries.
Deputies say the two men were on Cynthia Avenue because they were lost.
People who live in the area say they heard an argument and then the gunshots.
