A cold front will begin to push off of the coast later today , but unsettled weather remains in our forecast.  The chance for scattered rain and storms are expected again across the area today. These storms will be very slow moving and will increase the flood threat for areas that see the locally heavy downpours. Ponding on the roadways will also be a concern so take it slow today. A few storms may be strong that could produce damaging wind gusts and small hail.  With all of the rain some areas have seen over the past few days creating a very saturdated ground, strong wind gusts from storms could know over a few trees. You can track the rain and storms with us on First Alert Live Doppler 1500. The front will stall out near the coast tomorrow keeping a slight chance for an isolated shower/storm, but most locations will finally see some much drier weather as we head into the weekend. High pressure will build in behind the front and push it a little further off shore. This will allow drier air to move in for the weekend.

Today: Mostly Cloudy with scattered rain and storms. Slow moving storms may produce areas of localized flooding. Highs- Around 80°.

Tonight: Evening showers/storms will give way to mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance for a shower/storm overnight. Lows:Low/Mid 60s.

Friday: Mix of sun & clouds with the chance for a slight coastal shower or storm. Highs- Around 80°..
