NORTH MYRTLE BEACH -- Around 4,000 women will run the streets of North Myrtle Beach Sunday for the city's first Diva Half-Marathon and 5K races.

The half-marathon is held primarily in vacation destinations.

Runners get tiaras and feather boas as they run the 13.1 mile route.

The route will take runners along Ocean Boulevard, the horseshoe, around Surf, Golf and Beach Club and end on Main Street just west of Ocean Boulevard.

Prospective participants, volunteers and spectators (known as Diva Entourage) may visit www.runlikeadiva.com and click on "half Marathon Events" to learn more about the North Myrtle Beach event or to sign up.
