SCHP investigates fatal crash on SC 9

UPDATE

South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal accident that happened on SC 9 at 2 a.m. Thursday.

Kevin Lampus of Calabash, NC was traveling southbound on SC 9 when his car crashed into the Highway 31 overpass bridge, according to SCHP.

Troopers said Lampus was driving a 2011 Buick and was wearing a seat belt.
