Kingstree police charged a 16-year-old Kingstree boy with Threatening an Act of Terrorism.

Police Chief Robert Ford says they arrested the teen last week after he sent text messages to several students at Williamsburg Academy saying he was going to line up all the students he didn't like and shoot them one by one.

The students told their teachers who then called police.

Police say the teen didn't have a weapon in his possession when they arrested him.

There have been two detention hearings for the teen. In both cases, the judge ruled he'll remain in the Department of Juvenile Justice.
