A Longs man died in a single car wreck Saturday afternoon on Freemont Road. Horry County coroner Robert Edge says the victim is Nickolaus J. Bellamy, 33.
State troopers say Bellamy was coming out a curve and ran off the right side of the road then hit a tree. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Edge says the victim died about an hour later at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center from internal injuries.
The wreck is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
