A man was grazed by a bullet about 4:40 p.m. Thursday on 4th Avenue North.

He told police he was standing in front of his home near Balsam Street when a car drove by and someone inside opened fire. The man lives right across the street from a children's park, near the Food Lion shopping center.

The man was hit in the arm by the bullet. Emergency workers treated him on the scene.

Police arrested two people, but they have not yet been charged. Police plan to release more information this afternoon.
