School leaders evacuated Black Water Middle School about 1:50 p.m. because of a bomb threat.

A note was given to a teacher, according to Horry County Schools Spokeswoman Teal Britton. Britton could not say where the note was found.

She can't tell us what the note said until the police investigation is complete.

Police have cleared the school.

There should be no disruption in dismissal.
